Spare Time Video is a family run business. We started out helping family, friends, boy scouts and churches capture weddings and events in the early 90’s. Since then, request of our services and the business has grown. So here we are today looking to help you to record, edit, preserve & share your event or special occasion. When we started out, we were always willing to take a job if we had the spare time, hence the name “Spare Time Video”.
We record a variety of events including but not limited to: weddings, hotel conferences, college orientations, Eagle Scout ceremonies, alumni luncheons, holiday messages, religious services, school plays, funerals, town parades, fashion shows, workshops, field days, concerts, the Governor’s ball, marching bands, snocross and car races.
Whether it be a corporate event or a private gathering, we’re excited to work with you! We frequently partner with Dark Star Lighting & Production to cover their video needs on events involving live video, Imag camera operation and post editing needs.

Tim Chamberlin started the whole thing back in the 90’s filming snow-cross races for a friend, and capturing events at his church, since he had a camera and knew how to use it! Now, with better cameras and the ease of computer editing he puts together presentations and dedications for posterity or to share your hard work with the online world.

Andy Chamberlin saved his pennies and purchased his own video camera in 6th grade. He started by making his own videos – but his dad quickly let him in on “real” projects as a 2nd shooter for the Church’s Christmas Spectacular. This grew his involvement and interest into capturing events. Now he’s developed a creative eye, and enjoys shooting promotional videos and highlight reels of events.
